Pocket Card

I am so excited to announce that I have just recently promoted to Silver! Thanks Cheryl and Tena! In doing so I am having to think about Stamping in a different way. One of the things I am working on for this stamping year is keeping them simple and clean. This card is one that I designed based on another card that I did recently at a Bingo event at my upline's house. Thanks for the idea Margaret. I made this card for my daughter's sister. She is such a sweet little girl and we are going to visit her next week and I wanted to send her a little something before we got there. She's so cute she has a calendar and is counting down the days. I made this card in several different ways for several different occasions. Take the tutorial and make it yours and feel free to link you pictures up in the comments. Make sure to check out the actual making of the card on my YouTube Channel in the option above I usually have all videos posted by 8pm on Sundays.

Easter Egg Carton for a teen

I just got done shooting the video for this beauty. I used sweet sugarplum to make a sweet egg carton for my teen daughter's easter basket. The glimmer paper used here is from the Sale A Bration catalog. Be sure and check out my video on my YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPJUVZVBC4gGPR5ZSo9SAEg

Find it Friday

A few of us host a group on Facebook called Maryland Stampers for Demonstrators is the MD, VA, DE, PA, NJ region.  One of the things I enjoy is doing a Find it Friday for the group.  It helps all those that participate to get connected with their catalog.  This week I found my inspiration in an unusual place.  I was thumbing through the first few pages and saw a stamp I had never seen before.  So it is the focus of our Find it Friday.  If you are interested in joining our group send me an email at 1phatchicdesign@gmail.com

Here is what the game looks like:

Find it Friday time!  The rules are be the first to either tell me the name of the item or show me the picture and you are entered into the drawing for the FIF prize for the month of March.

Catalog: Annual Catalog
What:  Stamp Set
1.  I have never seen this stamp set before today and I find it very obscure.
2.  It represents one of my other passions besides stamping
3.  It will only enhance your project
4.  It is photopolymer and is made to stamp in all different sorts of ways.

Good Luck I think this one is hard.

The answer to this week's Find it Friday is stamp set can that can be found on page 2 and page 98 of the catalog.

Easter Envelope

Hello Stamping Sunday. Another week is here and I just finished a video on how to make this super cute envelope bag for note cards. It fits 3 x 3 note cards perfectly.

Transforming the Tin Card Kit into a Recipe Box

I loved the Card Tin in the Annual Catalog. But I didn't see what most people see. I saw an amazing recipe tin for my daughter's sister. She is 11 and when we go see her we are going to teach her a little bit about cooking. I saw this tin and knew that this is how she will be able to have those recipes we love the most. It was a fast project to complete and was so much fun too!

Starting out new or restarting afresh.

Lately, I have been asked the question more than once what would I do to get the most bang for my buck? The question was in reference to just beginning as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator or in my case restarting my business after selling everything. Well... the answer is simple. Buy Everything! Just kidding in this day and age money is tight and my want is always greater than my need. Buy SMARTER! For example, If I were starting over I would follow these simple steps in the instruction sheet to follow, I will have suggestions and examples and why. Let me know what you think in the comments below.
