Happy Sunday! We are back fresh from Maryland Stampers Regional with more ideas than we know what to do with. Maryland Stampers is hosting a swap using items from the Sale A Bration catalog. I finished it today and made a video as well. I hope you enjoy it. If you are a Demonstrator in the Delmarva area feel free and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll add you to our group.
Don't miss out on this awesome deal. Not sure about Paper Pumpkin email me at email@example.com for the opportunity to try it first hand for yourself free of charge.
What a great time I just had. My friends and co-workers at Maryland Stampers and I just held our 2nd bi-annual Regional Gathering for Demonstrators and Potential Demonstrators. One of the things that I love most about these things is the wonderful women we get to meet. I made some wonderful new friends and had the opportunity to reacquaint myself with other ladies I haven't seen in awhile. If you are interested in joining our group please feel free and email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So what happens at the Maryland Stampers Regional Gathering?
Well...we are blessed to have amazing demonstrators globally that help support our team with presentations and this time the lovely and wonderful Zoe Tant at http://stampingscene.blogspot.com/ was our first presenter. She brought us back to basics and talked us through how to get more out of your workshops for less. Our next presenter was Sandi Johnson from http://sandileescraps.blogspot.com/ continued our more for less and showed us how to use the same stamp set and paper to make wonderful cards. She also reminded us to market not only the wonderful company we all work for Stampin Up! but to Market ourselves. Our last presenter was my wonderful Boss and upline Margret Hall at http://www.margaretsstampingstudio.com/ who shared with us some water coloring techniques and some really wonderful tips.
After our presenters, we break for lunch that my teammate Terese Wells lovingly prepares for us. We do 8 make and takes that are at various skill levels.
When you arrive you are presented with a goody bag and there is always a prize patrol at hand.
For those of you who attended here are some of the links that I put on the board as well as the hashtag to use with your projects so I can see what you are all up to. For some really wonderful Card Sketch ideas http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/. One of the bloggers I personally love Kristina Werner http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/. She is a wealth of knowledge on design and right now she is super helpful with watercoloring. Her videos are easy to follow and are inspirational. A few of the other ladies that I derive inspiration from are Patty from Patty Stamps http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/, Kylie Bertucci at http://www.craftykylie.com/, and Chris Franco at http://stampedblessings.com/.
If you are interested in attending our next one please be sure and email me for the details of our next one. If you are part of the Maryland Stampers group I will be announcing our next one on Tuesday so make sure and tune into the group and I will have a post here on Tuesday as well with all of the details.
We are embarking on our second bi-annual Southern Maryland Regional Gathering. In doing so I created two of the eight make and takes that the Demonstrators will be making. This is a great wedding card I think it works perfectly for a bridal shower too. You could probably even add the little egg with this set and make it a baby shower card.
I am getting so excited for tomorrow. We are holding our 2nd Bi-annual Maryland Stampers Regional Gathering. This time we are so lucky to have a presentation from Zoe Tant over in the UK via Facebook. Much love to her for doing this for us. We also are having a presentation by the wonderful Sandi Johnson. Sandi was one of my friend Chris Franco's downline in Amuse Studio that came over to Stampin Up when Amuse stopped doing direct sales. She is going to bring us a fresh perspective from another company and I am excited to hear her talk. We are finally going to be blessed with a demonstration by my favorite upline Margaret Hall. She is going to be working with the Watercolor Pencils.
We are promised a wonderful day for sure. This is an event that I love being able to be one of four hosts. Here is how our day usually lays out.
Meet and Greet/ Swap
Presentations with Prize Patrol
Make and Takes (8)
I am such a crazy planner that we have already picked a date for the next one and I have two of the three presenters lined up. We think we have found a new home for our event at the College of Southern Maryland Prince Frederick Campus. If you are a demonstrator near here we would love to have you.
If you are a demonstrator and would like to join our group please email me at email@example.com and I will add you to the group. We have lots of great ideas and are a fun group of ladies.
Have a wonderful day! Make sure and check back tomorrow for two of the Make and Takes that are going to be posted.
This month I am scheduled to present a class on February 17th. Check out my website for further details. www.1phatchic.stampinup.net I am a huge fan of Kristina Werner at KWerner Designs. This morning I was watching one of her episodes from last February where she was teaching a watercolor class and I thought how can I translate this to our current product. Well this is my interpretation of her class with current product. If you pair these products with the Sale A Bration you could give a stunning gift a Tin of Cards as a gift. It's never to early to prepare for Graduations, Mothers Day, or Birthdays. A tin of these cards full of Thank You Cards would be perfect for any graduate. Remember that SAB lasts until the end of March and with any purchase of $50.00 you can receive a gorgeous gold card tin. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
