Transforming the Tin Card Kit into a Recipe Box

Img 0020

I loved the Card Tin in the Annual Catalog. But I didn't see what most people see. I saw an amazing recipe tin for my daughter's sister. She is 11 and when we go see her we are going to teach her a little bit about cooking. I saw this tin and knew that this is how she will be able to have those recipes we love the most. It was a fast project to complete and was so much fun too!

Place all the supplies out in front of you.
Just as an FYI here are the colors used. Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Cucumber Crush, Daffodil Delight, Dapper Denim, Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso, Emerald Envy, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Very Vanilla, Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White.

Included is:

4 separate card base designs
File Tab dividers
Printed die-cut images
die-Cut DSP
Vellum
White Cardstock tags with gold foil print
Wahsi tape
Baker's Twin
Sequins
Gold Paper Clips

I added the All Mixed Up Stamp Set

I cut the bases off of the cards and cut the back of the cards to 5 1/4 x 4.

I adhered elements to the card base using the washi tape.

I adhered the white card to the card base.

Four recipe cards

I stamped the die-cuts with coordinating colors.

I labeled my tabs with a dynamo. Fill out the recipe cards and give a wonderful gift.
