Maryland Stampers Regional

What a great time I just had.  My friends and co-workers at Maryland Stampers and I just held our 2nd bi-annual Regional Gathering for Demonstrators and Potential Demonstrators.  One of the things that I love most about these things is the wonderful women we get to meet.  I made some wonderful new friends and had the opportunity to reacquaint myself with other ladies I haven't seen in awhile.  If you are interested in joining our group please feel free and email me at 1phatchicdesign@gmail.com.

So what happens at the Maryland Stampers Regional Gathering?

Well...we are blessed to have amazing demonstrators globally that help support our team with presentations and this time the lovely and wonderful Zoe Tant at http://stampingscene.blogspot.com/ was our first presenter.  She brought us back to basics and talked us through how to get more out of your workshops for less.  Our next presenter was Sandi Johnson from http://sandileescraps.blogspot.com/ continued our more for less and showed us how to use the same stamp set and paper to make wonderful cards.  She also reminded us to market not only the wonderful company we all work for Stampin Up! but to Market ourselves.  Our last presenter was my wonderful Boss and upline Margret Hall at http://www.margaretsstampingstudio.com/ who shared with us some water coloring techniques and some really wonderful tips.

After our presenters, we break for lunch that my teammate Terese Wells lovingly prepares for us.  We do 8 make and takes that are at various skill levels.

When you arrive you are presented with a goody bag and there is always a prize patrol at hand.

For those of you who attended here are some of the links that I put on the board as well as the hashtag to use with your projects so I can see what you are all up to. For some really wonderful Card Sketch ideas http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/.  One of the bloggers I personally love Kristina Werner  http://www.kwernerdesign.com/blog/.  She is a wealth of knowledge on design and right now she is super helpful with watercoloring.  Her videos are easy to follow and are inspirational.  A few of the other ladies that I derive inspiration from are Patty from Patty Stamps http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/, Kylie Bertucci at http://www.craftykylie.com/, and Chris Franco at http://stampedblessings.com/.

If you are interested in attending our next one please be sure and email me for the details of our next one.  If you are part of the Maryland Stampers group I will be announcing our next one on Tuesday so make sure and tune into the group and I will have a post here on Tuesday as well with all of the details.
